Templates are the core visual building blocks for your social media posts. Every post image generated in Apaya is built upon a chosen template, which defines the layout, shape, and placement of the text and visual elements.
Apaya provides a library of ready-to-use templates, and you can create and manage your own custom Template designs. Custom templates are created in the Design Editor.
Template Inventory
This view displays all templates available to your brand, including both Apaya’s default templates and any custom templates you have created.
Active Status Control
Each template has an Active toggle:
- Active (On): Templates that are enabled will be automatically included when the Apaya AI generates post images for your campaigns (unless you manually select templates during campaign creation).
- Inactive (Off): Disabled templates will be ignored by the Apaya AI and will not be used to create new post images. Use this to quickly exclude templates you do not want to use.
Search and Filtering
To quickly locate or manage your templates, use the filtering options:
- Search: Use the search bar to find templates by name.
- Filter Options: Click the gear icon (or filter icon) to access the filtering dropdown. Here, you can filter templates by formats, active status, or quickly Enable All or Disable All.
Creating New Templates
Click the + Create New button in the top right corner to launch the Design Editor and build your own custom template from scratch.
