Brand Identity: Logo & Colors

Last updated:

Brand Identity controls the visual DNA of your social media content. This section defines the logo and color schemes that Apaya automatically applies to your image templates.

When you first add a brand, Apaya’s AI scans your website to locate your logo and extract your dominant brand colors. It then generates multiple color palettes to ensure your posts have variety while staying on-brand.

Logo Settings

Your logo is automatically stamped onto your generated social media images.

Best Practice: Currently, Apaya works best with Square Logos or Logo Marks (icons).

You can customize how your logo appears on posts using the Logo Settings panel:

  • Logo Background: Choose between Transparent, White, or Black. This ensures your logo pops regardless of the image background.
  • Padding: Adjust the breathing room around your logo.
  • Corner Radius: Round the corners of your logo background for a softer look.

Color Palettes

Palettes determine the color of backgrounds, shapes, headlines, and text in your generated images. The AI creates several variations (like Monochromatic, Complementary, etc.) based on your brand colors.

Managing Palettes

You can edit any palette to strictly define your brand look. Each palette consists of three core elements:

  1. Main Color: Usually the dominant background or shape color.
  2. Accent Color: Used for highlights, buttons, or emphasis.
  3. Text Color: Used for headlines and copy.

To edit a palette:

  1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon on the palette card.
  2. Click the color square you wish to change.
  3. Select a new color or enter a specific Hex Code.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Note: These colors map directly to specific elements in our design templates. We will cover exactly how Palettes interact with Templates in the “Templates” help guide.
